Satsuki Fujisawa, 32, a skip for Japan’s Team Fujisawa, which rivaled South Korea’s Team Kim in women’s curling at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, has made a surprising announcement.
According to Japan’s Nikkan Sports on Thursday, Fujisawa competed in the bikini classes of the MOLA CUP, a body makeup contest held in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture, on Nov. 22, winning a bronze medal in the Women’s Bikini Novice and a silver medal in the Women’s Bikini Open.
Photos from the competition posted by Fitness World Japan (FWJ) on social media show that Fujisawa has traded in her cute appearance from the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics (bronze) and Beijing Winter Olympics (silver) for a muscular bodybuilder’s body.
“Fujisawa has been training for about three months and has transformed into a different person,” said Nikkan Sports, “He started training in earnest for this event in April. He followed a strict diet for a month before the tournament.” 안전놀이터
According to reports, Fujisawa will begin training on the ice in August, travel to Canada in September, and compete in the Pan-Continental Curling Championships in November.
Previously, Fujisawa led Japan’s curling team to a bronze medal at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, losing in the semifinals to South Korea’s Team Kim. At the time, Fujisawa was dubbed the “Curling Park Bo Young” for his resemblance to South Korean actress Park Bo Young.
